Terms of service
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms are the deal between you and Storytruly. We have tried to keep them plain. By using Storytruly you agree to them.
Using Storytruly
You must be 18 or older. You sign in with Google and you are responsible for what happens in your account. Give us accurate information when you order.
Your stories, photos and books
You keep ownership of what you upload and of the books you make. You give us permission to store, process (including with the AI providers named in the privacy policy), show and print them, only so we can provide Storytruly to you.
What you promise
- You have the right to use everything you upload.
- You add photos of a child only if you are their parent or guardian, or you have their parent's or guardian's permission.
- You do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, sexual or harmful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- You do not misuse or overload the service, or try to get around its limits.
AI-made pictures
The pictures are made by AI. They can be imperfect: a face or a detail may not match, and asking twice can give different results. You look at every page before anything is printed, and you can redo any picture. We may refuse or filter content that breaks these terms.
Printed books
You see the price before you order. Books are printed and shipped by a printing partner, Lulu, and our team looks at the proof first. Check the proof carefully: printed colors can look different from a screen. Delivery times are estimates. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, email ayatsweid@gmail.com and we will work it out with the printer.
The free preview and limits
The free preview is limited per visitor per day. Accounts have allowances for books and pictures. We may change these limits.
Personal use
Your books are for you and your family. If you want to sell books or use them commercially, ask us first.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the profile menu. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
No guarantees
Storytruly is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on the site. The date at the top shows the latest version.
