Do I need to cover the whole trip?
No. One or two moments make a better book than a full itinerary. Tell us the parts your family still talks about.
How is this different from a photo book?
A photo book shows what the trip looked like. Storytruly writes it as a story a child can be read, with painted pictures, and ends with a page of the real photos it came from.
Can the pictures show the places we went?
Yes. Mention the places in your moment and add photos of the family there, and the pictures show the setting from your words. It is a story about the trip, not a map.
What if it rained the whole time?
Then that is the book. Tell us what you did instead, whether it was ice cream in the car or a card game in the cabin.
Can I send a copy to the grandparents?
Yes. When you order, you type the shipping address, so a copy can go to them. The price is shown in the app before you order.
Can I tell it out loud instead of typing?
Yes. Record a voice memo, type it, or photograph a handwritten page. Storytruly writes the book from whichever you use.
Can I make it in another language?
Yes: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch. You can tell the story in one language and get the book in another.
Are the pictures made with AI?
Yes. The pictures are painted with AI from your words and photos, in the art style you pick, and you can redo any of them. You look at every page before anything is printed.
Is it a real printed book?
Yes. It is printed in full color as an 11 by 8.5 inch landscape book, hardcover or softcover. You check a page-by-page proof first, and the team gives it a last look before it is printed.
How much does it cost?
